An employee went to see his boss.

"Boss," he said, "we're doing some heavy house-cleaning at home tomorrow, and my wife needs me to help with cleaning stuff out of the attic, the shed, and the garage, as well as help with scrubbing the kitchen cupboards."

"I\'m sorry," said the boss, "but we're short-handed at the moment. There's no way I can give you a day off."
